The film consists of a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between conductive components. When electrical power is applied, the liquid crystal molecules align, allowing light to pass through and create a clear, transparent appearance.
When the power is switched off, the molecules disperse randomly, scattering light and producing a frosted, opaque effect that enhances privacy.
